MONITORING TRAFFIC FLOWS - Classifying and reporting
Measuring traffic volumes traditionally involves the use of an un-attended counting device connected to pneumatic sensors laid across the roadway. These systems are subject to wear and tear and deliberate damage. In residential areas, the noise of vehicles crossing the tubes is a nuisance. Traffic management is a problem when installation is across a multi-lane highway.
The Vidimon® video motion detection solution is a non-invasive system that monitors, logs and reports traffic movements.
