CYCLIST DETECTION - Traffic signals intervention

Cyclists entering wide multi-lane intersections late in the green signal phase may not have time to exit the intersection before the cross-traffic red signal changes to green. There is an increased risk of serious accidents occurring when cross traffic is allowed to enter the intersection before it is cleared. The Vidimon® TM-C video detection solution monitors dedicated cyclist lanes and acts to hold the all-red signal phase until the lane is vacant.
